Venice

We are off to Venice for the week, and I will be deleting spam for maybe 20 minutes next Saturday! I have more pictures of the joust (giostra) and parade in Pistioa I should post, and hopefully some good pictures of Venice too. I'm hoping my next binge of playing with photos gets both done.
I decided to leave all the electronics home except my camera/camcorder, in an effort to soak up more Venice I'm abandoning the toys that take so much of my time. Well, we will have one old notebook and burner but that's only to save pictures and video. We are leaving our phones behind too.
We will drive to Pistoia, park the car at AnsaldoBreda and jump on the train. Pistoia to Florence, then Florence to Venice.
For the next 3 weeks AnsaldoBreda is officially closed, and I will squeeze in a few days of office work but otherwise it's vacation time. We have no travel plans after Venice so we will play it by ear. We might go to Milan for a couple days and visit Andrea/Patrizia/Eleonora. There's some museums we really should see in Florence too, for being here over two years and not seeing them yet is a bit silly!
I want to go back to places I have been to before if only to get pictures with my better camera now.
