where is he?

Only the naked eye creates the man in the moon I suppose. The left side is a bit bumpy eh? Is that considered the "west" side?

so strict!

You'd think if they were serious they would make a more noticeable sign. Or maybe say something. I thought it was pretty funny, I was walking across the grass, with 800 other people, and came upon this sign.

The Union Beggars

A permanent fixture in Montecatini Terme, a large family that all dress alike and beg on the streets. We nicknamed them "the union beggars" as if they had uniforms and such. I'd have more sympathy if it looked like they attempted to find work, but they are full time shaking cupped hands in your face on the sidewalks and stop lights. Harmless, and maybe nice people, but they prefer to avoid regular jobs! Come to think of it, most of us don't work because we REALLY want to work.... right?

Main Street

In Bonelle. It's not really named Main Street, but it is the main street!

Aqueduct

Fed Lucca for many centuries, we'll go back and see if we can find out how old the system is. Parts of it were upgraded/expanded/fixed about 200 years ago. Even now it is almost intact and could be fixed, the biggest work would be where they removed a chunk for the autostrade (highway). It's such a cool looking structure, too bad they did not make an underpass instead of tearing it down. I guess they are not too desperate to find relics here.....
