"The democrats were arrogant, so I
voted for trump."
For the argument that democrats were
rejected for being arrogant because of projecting that they had
superior morals and were better than trumpsters, and that FORCED self
proclaimed moderates to vote for trump.
Let's take a peek at that morality
claim.
I am guilty as charged.
Yes, I do think I am morally superior
to trump and MAGA.
Trump asked his military general if he
could shoot some protesters.
I am morally superior to that, I would
never ask anyone to shoot protesters, especially given that these
were peaceful protesters, they were not harming anyone or anything.
The only morally acceptable answer to that question is "NO".
I am morally superior to the person who asked that question.
Trump deliberately lied to Americans
about COVID 19, and many Americans died as a result of that lie.
(multiple lies, actually) I am morally superior to a person that
deliberately lied and caused needless suffering and death.
While trump was president he told over
30,000 lies to the American people. These are documented and proven
debunked. I am morally superior to a president that tells some 30,000
lies to the American people in the course of his duty.
Trump told lies about building a wall
at the Mexican border, he diverted money from military services that
the military people need, and his cronies grifted money (and were
found guilty of that in court) from those funds, and jack shit of the
wall was built and Mexico didn't pay as trump promised. I am morally
superior to that.
Trump repeated the lie that he would
have a health care plan "in two weeks" that would be much
better than "Obamacare". He never produced a plan, and in
the 8 years he has never produced any plan. He tried to kill The
Affordable Care Act multiple times with no replacement. I am morally
superior to that.
He repeated the lie about having an
"infrastructure week" and the plan was coming out "soon".
Again, nothing was produced in his 4 year term. I am morally superior
to that.
Trump knowingly and deliberately lied
about countless things, often accompanied by wild accusations against
his opponents, like about FEMA, vaccines, he'd cut the deficit but
shot it up at a record pace and level, schools performing gender
change surgeries on students, many claims of the democrats cheating
in elections and "she doesn't do interviews", Walz was
selling tampons in the boy's bathroom, ludicrous claims that people's
televisions stop because when the wind stops windmills don't make
power, everyone will be forced to buy an electric car almost
immediately, the Paris climate accords meant the US had to pay "a
trillion dollars" while other countries paid nothing, criminals
from Venezuela are being bused into the US and dropped in the
streets, criminal populations outside the US are dropping because the
criminals are being shipped to the US, claimed 21 million migrants
"invaded" the US during the Biden administration
exaggerating by over 10-fold to gin up fear, lied saying he didn't
have any classified documents, Biden got millions of dollars from
China (literally ZERO), countless examples of economic statistics
wildly inflated or deflated implying Biden was wrecking the economy
(he actually wrecked the economy), NPR reported 162 lies and
distortions in a single 64 minute speech this August, and this list
could go on for literally thousands of examples. I am morally
superior to a chronic liar such as trump.
Trump says that women who have
abortions should be punished by the government. I am morally superior
to that.
Trump says doctors performing abortions
should be punished by the government. I am morally superior to that.
Trump promised to cut back on civil
rights. I am morally superior to that.
Trump has called for rolling back
societal emphasis on diversity and for legal protections for LGBTQ
citizens. I am morally superior to that.
Trump has called for ending diversity,
equity and inclusion programs in government institutions, using
federal funding as leverage. I am orally superior to that.
Trump promises generally to end “boys
in girls’ sports,” a practice he insists, without evidence, is
widespread. I am morally superior to that.
Trump would roll back the Biden
administration’s policy of extending Title IX civil rights
protections to transgender students, and he would ask Congress to
require that only two genders can be recognized at birth. I am
morally superior to that.
He would make it easier to fire federal
workers by classifying thousands (est. 50,000) of them as being
outside civil service protections. That could weaken the government’s
power to enforce statutes and rules by reducing the number of
employees engaging in the work and, potentially, impose a chilling
effect on those who remain. I am morally superior to that.
The federal Department of Education
would be targeted for elimination in a second Trump administration. I
am morally superior to that.
He calls for pulling federal funding
“for any school or program pushing Critical Race Theory, gender
ideology, or other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content
on our children.” Note: "critical race theory" is vaguely
applied to anything him or his people don't like about historic or
current realities. I am morally superior to that.
Trump promises to control accreditation
of colleges & universities due to “Marxist Maniacs and
lunatics” he says control higher education. A stupid claim with
serious ramifications. He also promises to divert endowment money to
academies of his approval saying “It will be strictly
non-political, and there will be no wokeness or jihadism allowed—none
of that’s going to be allowed” which is a blatantly political
stance by itself. Of course he'd never spot that irony. I am morally
superior to that.
Trump will undoubtedly appoint the most
antithetical people possible to run departments. Like RFK jr to
Health & Human Services, that's insane. I am morally superior to
that.
Trump promises to fire around 50,000
civil service professionals to install sworn allegiant sycophants
that will carry out any order he gives them. I am morally superior to
that.
Trump is hostile to unions or
collective bargaining of workers. I am morally superior to that.
Trump is an adjudicated rapist. I am
morally superior to that.
Trump stole funds from a charity for
sick children. I am morally superior to that.
Trump was convicted for racism against
black applicants for rental units. I am morally superior to that.
Trump viciously cheated/screwed
hundreds of contractors out of full payment for services rendered
over decades. He destroyed a lot of people doing that. I am morally
superior to that.
Trump told Putin he can do whatever the
hell he wants, to countries that don't contribute to NATO or spend
enough domestically on military. I am morally superior to that.
Trump praises Putin and Kim Jong Un and
Xi Xiaoping and Orban. I am morally superior to that.
Trump persistently insults and demeans
trans people and promises incalculable harm to them. I am morally
superior to that.
Trump will or will try to abandon
Ukraine completely leaving them vulnerable to annihilation. I am
morally superior to that.
Trump persistently insults US allies. I
am morally superior to that.
Trump vaguely promises revenge and
retribution to journalists and media and political opponents and
using the power of government to do it. Trumpsters should STFU about
free speech. I am morally superior to that.
Trump promises to weaponize the DOJ
against anyone he dislikes for any reason he deems fit. I am morally
superior to that.
Trump promises mass deportation of
undocumented and even documented immigrants, regardless of the harms.
I am morally superior to that.
Trump promises to vastly militarize the
border. I am morally superior to that.
Trump wanted to bomb Mexico, and wants
battle plans drawn up to attack Mexico. I am morally superior to
that.
Trump intends to promote
unconstitutional racial profiling in all police departments and
punish departments that do not comply. I am morally superior to that.
Trump intends to round up homeless
people and throw them into camps. I am morally superior to that.
Despite denials, trump has publicly
said he would support a federal nationwide abortion ban. I am morally
superior to that.
Trump is a huge fan of the death
penalty. I am morally superior to that.
Trump has on multiple occasions
indicated he wants to undermine NATO. I am morally superior to that.
Trump promised oil executives that for
a billion dollars he would roll back regulations and approve
everything they ask for in order to inflate their profits and do more
ecological damage. I am morally superior to that.
Trump intends to slash laws regarding
guns, and fire the director of the ATF because it's "too hard on
gun owners". I am morally superior to that.
Trump intends to pardon Jan6 rioters. I
am morally superior to that.
Trump promises to eliminate the Civil
Rights Division of the DOJ. I am morally superior to that.
Trump promises to eliminate the EPA's
Office of Environmental Justice, which will undoubtedly harm the
safety of countless Americans. I am morally superior to that.
Trump directed his AG to always pursue
the harshest penalties possible for every drug charge regardless of
the case's circumstances. This will further over incarcerate a
disproportionate number of minorities. I am morally superior to that.
Trump rolled back PR programs of police
departments trying to have a better relationship with their
communities. I am morally superior to that.
Trump supports the increase of
privately owned prisons, which essentially are profit motivated to
increase incarceration. I am morally superior to that.
Trump signed a bill to strip rights
from consumers regarding taking companies to court, weakening
consumer protections. I am morally superior to that.
Trump plans to decrease the budget for
the US Dept. of Labor and Federal Contract Compliance Programs, which
will result in weaker protection from discrimination. I am morally
superior to that.
Trump killed the Employer Information
Report, which was used to uncover wage discrimination against women
of color, who face some of the largest wage gaps across all
industries. I am morally superior to that.
President Trump asked Congress to
eliminate the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program, which
provides high-quality after-school programs to 1.1 million low-income
students of color. I am morally superior to that.
President Trump wants to freeze Pell
Grant awards—which help nearly two-thirds of African American
students and half of Latino students pay for college—at their
current level of $5,920, as well as slash the program surplus by $3.9
billion. At the same time, the administration is also cutting the
Federal Work-Study program in half and eliminating the Federal
Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program, which helps
students with exceptional financial need. I am morally superior to
that.
Trump defunded Planned Parenthood,
which supplies desperately needed health care to women. He intends to
defund several programs that help women with health care, especially
poor women. I am morally superior to that.
Trump intends to promote misinformation
and disinformation on reproductive and sexual health care. I am
morally superior to that.
Trump plans to block funding for the
United Nations Population Fund, as it did during his first term, and
jeopardize funding for international family planning and reproductive
health through US Global Health Programs and the Economic Support
Fund. I am morally superior to that.
Trump will exploit the executive
branch’s vast and unprecedented powers to spy on Americans’ lives
with warrant-less surveillance of our data. So much for smaller
government and privacy. This is something conservatives rant on and
on about, and THEIR candidate will be much worse than any
administration in history. I am morally superior to that.
Trump will undoubtedly pursue
disenfranchisement and suppression of voting with strategic laws
targeting minorities and liberals. This is not a new game, but
trumpsters are getting better at it. I am morally superior to that.
Trump intends to Censor academic
discussions about race, gender, and systemic oppression, in violation
of the First Amendment, and promising to cut federal funding for
schools with curricula that touch on these subjects. DeSantis is
ahead of that curve. I am morally superior to that.
Trump lied about his knowledge of
anything in Project 2025 (a terrifying plan) despite working closely
with the prime author, and 140 people from his administration worked
on it. He knows it is extremely toxic and harmful and he supports it.
I am morally superior to that.
Trump refused to peacefully and
cooperatively transfer power like all his predecessors did throughout
American history. I am morally superior to that.
Trump plans to eliminate the rights of
and protections for disabled students. I am morally superior to that.
Trump plans to repeal Medicare's
ability to negotiate drug prices and place low caps on care. This
will do serious harm. I am morally superior to that.
Trump plans to shrink the CDC,
decreasing its functions and abilities. I am morally superior to
that.
Trump and his "support the troops"
people will make VA benefits more difficult to obtain and sometimes
impossible. That used to be a third rail for conservatives, but being
in a cult changes things. I am morally superior to that.
Trump plans to further restrict SNAP
benefits and increase the work requirements even for disabled people.
Malnutrition will flourish. I am morally superior to that.
Trump plans to reduce enforcement of
the ADA, which will enable more discrimination. I am morally superior
to that.
Trump obviously does not give a shit
about anyone, including and maybe especially his own supporters. He
only cares about himself, that is the most obvious thing on the
planet. He is a selfish cruel incompetent ignorant bigot that has
been frighteningly successful at pandering to the lowest instincts of
gullible people and it's no excuse that his supporters have
legitimate grievances for their troubles or hard times. No moral
person, regardless of their various circumstances in the USA can
support a leader that will openly pursue much greater harm to
millions of people in and out of the USA. There is no statistically
significant number of people that will benefit from trump being
president over Harris. The main people that will benefit are a tiny
number of people who are either super dangerous to others or are in
no need of any help from anybody.
This writing doesn't even scratch the
fucking surface of how bad trump and his MAGA minions truly are.
YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT I AM MORALLY
SUPERIOR TO THAT.
I don't give a shit if you think I am
an arrogant person. These assholes complaining that democrats are
arrogant are absolutely ignoring massive evidence the liberals they
whine about are supremely justified in believing they have superior
morals.
The underpinning of that moral claim
completely revolves around reducing harm and increasing wellness.
Falling for culture war bullshit and believing lies in everything
trump talks about has absolutely destroyed millions of Americans'
perception of reality and sense of empathy.
Trump voters who are offended by
criticism of their morals spend zero effort to examine their morals.
They SHOULD feel uncomfortable when democrats may sneer at them, and
as uncomfortable as it may be that criticism has foundational truths
and empathy that trump voters are apparently incapable of pondering.
Ya, you're being called out for good reason. The right way to respond
is to review reality and learn something. What offends me is all the
above harms that are eagerly pursued by 70 something million people
whether they know it or not. The argument that trump won a majority
does not make anything above (plus the hundreds of things not listed)
right or moral. THE MAJORITY CAN BE WRONG. The whole "might
makes right" thing you are currently swollen on will do things
like probably kill a shitload more Palestinians and Ukrainians, and
will almost certainly expand because of trump.
The number of dominoes that could and
very possibly will fall worldwide as a direct result of trump being
president are countless and dangerous. It is fair to expect that
trump will mimic the autocrats he has praised, by squashing dissent
and crippling his opponents and stuffing the government with
sycophants. This is precisely what Putin and Orban did and trump has
publicly envied them for it. This would mean that trump would never
give up power. The two term limit would be subverted by his compliant
minions, dictator 101.
What I've just written is not wild
speculation, it is how things work with fascists. Yes, trump is a
fascist. It's not necessary to mention the admiration(alleged
multiple times) for Hitler to conclude this, you only need a nominal
understanding of how fascism works and the pieces all fall into
place.
Justifying the election of the worst
possible person because what? A mythical egg price issue? A revered
squirrel martyr? Phantom murderous immigrants? Brown people getting
help via tax dollars? Not enough jesus in schools?
Post-birth abortions? (idiot phrase)
Just what the fuck can you legitimately pin on Biden or Harris or
Obama that is doing you or your loved ones harm? 5 bucks says that
anything you bring up that is real WILL BE WORSE UNDER TRUMP.
A lot more suffering will happen, and
it's your motherfucking fault. The US will be a worse place.
Fuck your morals, and fuck you.
The opinion that the democrats ran the
worst campaign ever is pretty amazing when you compare it to trump's
campaign. His was all about him, grievances against him, insulting
everyone that wasn't totally MAGA, said bigoted things frequently,
his speech was laced with lies and exaggerations non-stop. He also
said almost nothing about policy, never anything specific, and
nothing good to say about anyone except himself. If the dems appeared
worse than trump, you are judging on a very steep curve, as in no
flaws of his mattered but Harris had to be flawless.
The claim that dems were calling all
republicans a nazi a hitler a racist and garbage is way way wrong.
There was no shortage of criticism of trump, but not at ALL
republicans. You're too fucking sensitive, and too easily triggered
by your own exaggeration.
As for racists, implying that there's
racists on both sides is really dishonest. The percentage is
massively weighted on the republican side. Starting with the Southern
Strategy, party policy was to leverage racism for votes. That's for
historical perspective, the republican party DELIBERATELY cultivated
support from southern racists as a matter of policy. At the beginning
of the campaign, why were the party leaders warning party members
against using overtly racist and sexist attacks against Harris? Do
you think anyone in the democratic leadership gave that same caution
to its party members? NO! Because there was no need for it, it
probably didn't even occur to them. Trump's bullshit about Harris
"becoming black" all of a sudden as if it was a tactic she
used for some kind of advantage was ludicrous and it was brought up
to deliberately make racists happy. The "dog-whistle"
thing, you guys aren't very clever. The floating island of garbage
comment was well-received by the crowd at that rally, and it was only
criticized by the trump campaign when the backlash fired up, they
were fine with it and you fucking know that. Immigrants "poisoning
the blood of Americans" is irrefutably racist, you have no
defense for that. Republicans did not walk it back, very few
republicans criticized that comment. No prob. Republican racism is so
ingrained it has one of the candidates being the son of Indian
immigrants and he's promoting "the great replacement theory".
AYFKM? Also said that American culture "can't be restored by
somebody else's babies". If you think that's not a racist
comment then you're a moron. Republicans are far more likely to say
that white people are more victims of racism than blacks. I shit you
not. BlackLivesMatter is railed against as if it was a terrorist
group rampaging through nice white neighborhoods, demonized all the
time. By surveys, democrats & independents were far more likely
change their opinion to say discrimination against blacks was a main
reason for economic disparity, but republicans never changed their
opinion. Republicans are the only ones crying about the demographics
trending toward whites not being the majority in X years, democrats
have no complaints but repubs are pretty fucking vexed about it.
Republicans are the ONLY ones who think teaching the history of
racism in the US is bad for the country. Bury your heads in the sand,
it'll all go away, right? Trump, saying about COVID treatments, “If
you’re white, you have to go to the back of the line.
Discriminating against white people!” Direct fucking quote. Trump
was endorsed by an ex leader of the KKK, and we have Ted Cruz saying
“the Democrats are the party of the Ku Klux Klan.”
Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) got
thoroughly twisted in knots trying to defend his statement that “my
opinion of a white nationalist, if somebody wants to call them a
white nationalist, to me, is an American.” Representatives Greene
and Paul Gosar (R-AZ) had no problem hanging out with racists and
Neo-Nazis—until, at least, they got caught doing so. In February
2022, they both spoke at the America First Political Action
Conference that brought together Islamophobes, hard-line nativists,
and others on the far right. The gathering was organized by prominent
white nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes.
Gosar and Greene along with
Representatives Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and Louie Gohmert (R-Tex.) who
attempted to launch an America First Caucus that would champion
“uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions.” A secret paper,
uncovered by Punchbowl News, discussed the forming of that caucus and
the rationale behind it (addressing the supposed threat of “mass
immigration” to “the long-term existential future of America as a
unique country with a unique culture and a unique identity”). No
need even to say “white,” of course. After the document was
revealed and some Republican leaders criticized the initiative, all
parties involved backed down (at least in public).
From 1989 to 1992, David Duke even
served as a Republican in the Louisiana State Legislature. Ya, that
guy, the former KKK leader WAS A REPUBLICAN legislator.
Trump opposed the removal of a statue
of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee. Don't be so foolish as to think
DJT gives a shit about the bullshit claim "it's just heritage
and history". He opposed it because it would get him votes, and
you fucking know it. Does "very fine people on both sides"
ring a bell?
Trump said "that Black-led cities
are dirty and dangerous places."
Racist groups are overwhelmingly
republican voters.
A study out of the University of North
Texas on the 2016 Trump campaign, one that held nativist racism at
its core, statistically proved that in places where Trump held one of
his over 300 rallies there was a “226% increase in hate-motivated
incidents”.
It's clear that the republican party is
the right wing, it occupies the entirety of the right end of the
spectrum. There's no denying that. Thus: Far-right politics, often
termed right-wing extremism, encompasses a range of ideologies that
are typically marked by radical conservatism, authoritarianism,
ultra-nationalism, and nativism. This political spectrum situates
itself on the far end of the right, distinguished from more
mainstream right-wing ideologies by its hostile opposition to liberal
democratic norms and emphasis on exclusivist views. Far-right
ideologies have historically included fascism, Nazism, and Falangism,
while contemporary manifestations also incorporate neo-fascism,
Neo-Nazism, white supremacism, and various other movements
characterized by chauvinism, xenophobia, and theocratic or
reactionary beliefs. Racism is INHERENTLY located in the right wing,
this is a clear fact. The left and center-left and largely the center
have almost no tendency to be racist. There's simply nobody else that
will get these groups votes. They are ideologically OPPOSED to the
left. The Neo Nazis? They belong to YOUR SIDE.
As for saying that racism is on the
left and implying that makes them the same so it's a wash is just
wrong. The only discussions or studies on liberal/left wing racism
revolve around how they understand racism and how they interact with
minorities. Things like how liberals might be awkward or patronizing
or want a pat on the back and acknowledged for being non-racist, or
saying they don't see colour of skin, etc. etc. and none of the
observations are about any kind of hostilities toward a minority.
Finding one lefty that is habitually hostile to a minority and
blowing up that one example does not disprove this overwhelming
majority that follow the framework I've laid out.
Don't forget, Trump was charged for
being a racist landlord with his racists daddy in the 70's. On the
record. In the papers. Had to sign a consent decree to stop being a
racist landlord.
Trump famously advertised against the
Central Park Five, calling for the death penalty. They were
exonerated in 2002, but THIS YEAR he said they were guilty.
In a 1989 interview with Bryant Gumbel,
Trump stated: "A well-educated black has a tremendous advantage
over a well-educated white in terms of the job market."
In his 1991 book Trumped! John
O'Donnell quoted Trump as allegedly saying:
"I've got black accountants at
Trump Castle and at Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate
it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys
wearing yarmulkes.... Those are the only kind of people I want
counting my money. Nobody else... Besides that, I've got to tell you
something else. I think that the guy's lazy. And it's probably not
his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks."
Trump told Playboy magazine in an
interview published in 1997, "The stuff O'Donnell wrote about me
is probably true." Two years later when seeking the nomination
of the Reform Party, he denied saying it. He changed the story FOR
POLITICS.
In 2000, Trump and his associates were
fined $250,000 (equivalent to $420,000 in 2023) and publicly
apologized for failing to reveal that they had financed
advertisements criticizing the proposal of building more Native
American casinos in the Catskill Mountains, which alluded to Mohawk
Indians doing cocaine and bringing violence, asking: "Are these
the new neighbors we want?" The advertisements, claiming to be
funded by "grass-roots, pro-family" donors, were actually
designed by Roger Stone, while Trump approved and financed the
million-dollar venture.
In 1993, Trump argued in Congress with
ranking U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources member George
Miller over Native American casinos. Trump felt the competition would
hurt his own gambling interests. Miller asked, "Is this you?,"
discussing Indian ethnicity: "We're going to judge people by
whether they have Indian blood whether they're qualified to run a
casino or not?'" Trump responded, "That probably is me,
absolutely. Because, I'll tell you what. If you look at some of the
reservations that you've approved, that you, sir in your great wisdom
have approved, I'll tell you right now, they don't look like Indians
to me." Miller responded, "Thank God that's not the test of
whether or not people have rights in this country or not – whether
or not they pass your 'look' test." In 2024, Ana Cabrera of
MSNBC remarked, "Congressman George Miller of California, who
confronted Trump in that 1993 clip, said that was the most
irresponsible testimony he had heard in his 40 years in Congress.
During the presidential campaign, Trump
criticized Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel who oversaw those two cases,
alleging bias in his rulings because he is "a Mexican judge.
He’s of Mexican heritage." Although his parents immigrated
from Mexico, Judge Curiel is an American citizen, born in East
Chicago, Indiana. Trump said that Curiel would have "an absolute
conflict" due to his Mexican heritage which led to accusations
of racism. Speaker of the House and a Trump supporter, Republican
Paul Ryan commented, "I disavow these comments. Claiming a
person can't do the job because of their race is sort of like the
textbook definition of a racist comment. I think that should be
absolutely disavowed. It's absolutely unacceptable."
At a rally in Birmingham, Alabama on
November 21, 2015, Trump falsely claimed that he had seen television
reports about "thousands and thousands" of Arab Americans
in New Jersey celebrating as the World Trade Center collapsed during
the 9/11 attacks. In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, Trump
doubled-down on the assertion, insisting that "there were people
that were cheering on the other side of New Jersey, where you have
large Arab populations"
Prior to and during the 2016 campaign,
Trump used his political platform to spread disparaging messages
against various racial groups. Trump claimed, "the overwhelming
amount of violent crime in our cities is committed by blacks and
Hispanics," that "there's killings on an hourly basis
virtually in places like Baltimore and Chicago and many other
places," that "There are places in America that are among
the most dangerous in the world. You go to places like Oakland. Or
Ferguson. The crime numbers are worse. Seriously," and retweeted
a false claim that 81% of white murder victims were killed by black
people (the actual percentage was 15%, according to the FBI for
2014).
Trump launched his presidential
campaign by repeating the "Birther"claims about Obama. He
rode racism into his original notoriety that sparked his campaign,
which was allegedly done for publicity and he never believed he would
win.
Trump also suggested that evangelicals
should not trust Ted Cruz because Cruz is Cuban and that Jeb Bush
"has to like the Mexican illegals because of his wife," who
is Mexican American.
Trump made a bunch of racially tainted
insults at Obama.
He was the main reason for the
destruction of Colin Kaepernick's career. That was like an orgasm for
racists, they got to cry about the flag and everything, all bullshit.
There are dozens and dozens more
examples of trump's racist rhetoric. He's a racist. Racists support
him and not democrats. Virtually all of them vote for him and he
appeals to them in speech all the fucking time. The republican party
OWNS racism. Stop the both sidesism bullshit, it's absolutely stupid
to deny it.
You can't name ONE democrat that has
10% of the racist statements from trump. Go ahead.... I'll wait....
All republicans are not racist, but
virtually all racists are republican. QfuckingED.
As for insulting this guy's
intelligence, he can't be anywhere near genius to say what he's
saying.
Trump IS a threat to democracy. Review
all the relative statements from him, from his closest people, from
Project 2025, from ex cabinet members swearing he's a fascist, does
"fascist to the core" ring a bell? FASCISTS are by
definition a threat to democracy. Trump plans to undermine all other
authority in government to grab control of everything, he and his
people have promised to do that and they have it all laid out in
Project 2025. Do you think his closest people saying they want to
"burn it all down" means that democracy is safe with trump?
Are you fucking stupid? Trump is an admirer of the fascists in power
now and he has praised them many times and he's in contact with at
least two of them regularly. (Putin & Orban). His plans are all
dependent on him BEING A FASCIST. Many parts are already in place,
sycophants in congress, a compliant SCOTUS, and business leaders are
scared shitless, and Musk is oh so eager to get power.
If you can't see how trump is a threat
to democracy then you're flat out stupid.
The most important thing democrats
could run on is preserving democracy, but that doesn't mean anything
to the idiots who don't recognize the threat trump is to it. Saying
that's all the democrats said in the campaign is ignorant as fuck,
Harris & Walz talked about a lot of policy, but you wouldn't know
that IF YOU DIDN'T LISTEN TO ANYTHING. Ignoring the candidate and
then claiming they didn't say this or that is the dumbest shit ever.
If you primarily watch right wing
media, that's the kind of stupid opinion you would form.
The listed "border, economy, the
middle east, inflation" as topics Kamala never talked about were
all talked about by Kamala. One thing about inflation, it's BETTER in
the US than virtually the entire fucking planet. The US economy is
doing BETTER than virtually the entire fucking planet. Kamala, is the
VP. It's just bad form to badmouth your prez, so that's kind of a
sticky spot to navigate, any reasonably decent person would agree.
Harris tried to suggest differentiation but yes, it was mostly vague.
As for continuing the trajectory Biden is on, you wouldn't know by
watching FOX but he's actually been pretty productive and there's the
economic stuff above. Biden's performance blows the doors off trump,
and you're blind to reality if you deny that. Trump's most
significant contribution was to appoint judges that Mitch McConnell
produced for him, and that's a seriously negative contribution, as in
a bad thing, not a good thing.
For the "she's not doing any
interviews" thing, the week that was the trending outrage from
the right she did 3 or 4 interviews, and followed with doing FOX
which turned out to make her look far better than trump in any
interview in his life. Harris and team did not put much emphasis on
going on media for fluff interviews or waste time on questions that
are just repeating the dumb-ass accusations from MAGA, the questions
that come from mostly manufactured (I.E. bullshit) issues generated
to create outrage.
Trump is a lifelong racist and bigot,
there's a huge amount of evidence for it, including people repeating
his words like using the N word when he's behind closed doors.
Policies that are being pushed by trump
and his people like Stephen Miller are obviously racially motivated,
they don't give a shit about immigration laws. The mass deportation
thing is not in any amount about integrity of law, it is about
ridding society of brown and black people they hate, plain and
simple. Don't let them fool you if they hold up a few whites they are
throwing out of the country as proof it's not racism.
There's a string of other reasons why
voting for trump is a bad idea.
In general terms voting for trump is
deliberately voting for more suffering and misery for more people.
Mass deportation is not the only issue,
although that should be enough by itself. These are the people that
want to cripple Social Security. They want to put more people out of
health care. They want to raise taxes on the middle & lower
class, that used to be a hot-button no-no for the right, but it's
okay if you have a dear leader telling you it's ok and you're fooled
into thinking it won't be YOU. They want to strip more and more
rights from women, it's not only abortion. They want more student
debt. They want to do the opposite of what is scientifically the
right thing to do, such as deny climate change is real or that carbon
emissions are a problem or that weather patterns are changing enough
to do serious harm or that mRNA vaccines are safe. If it might impede
profit, they deny the science that proves them wrong. All of this
will do harm, measurable and often serious harm, up to and including
harming the future health and success of our species. You won't agree
with this opinion if you refuse to gather your opinion by using
credible source information as in actual scientists with peer
reviewed consensus. THAT'S NOT FOX OR TRUMP.
Voting for trump will make the divide
between rich and poor greater, irrefutably so. That's a North Star
for trump, making money no matter who it harms. He's a shit business
man that has famously screwed hundreds of contractors out of money
that was critical for those smaller companies and many of this
companies did not survive trump's army of lawyers. He's had so many
business failures that American banks won't touch him and nobody in
the business or finance world trusts him.
It seems clear that nobody on the right
actually cares about the morals they previously swore was important
and many still do, as in trump can be a racist, he can cheat on his
wives, he can steal money from charities, he can screw over
contractors (or anyone else), he can speak lying trash at anyone that
doesn't fawn over him, he can be a lazy asshole, he can lie his ass
off all day every day, NONE of that matters to people that vote for
him. Of course, they will attack democrats/liberals crying about bad
morals on the left, and those attacks will outrage people who are too
fucking stupid to see the hypocrisy, and vote for trump.
The cruelty toward trans people is
already disgusting, and it's entirely from republicans. Voting for
trump is voting for ramping that up to horrific levels and LGBTQ+
people are already justifiably freaking out over it. This alone will
be immense and deliberate cruelty, we know what's coming and we know
the misery it will cause but it is a holy noble cause for his
jesus-freaks and even the less religious on the right are all
manipulated into hating trans people. Don't accept bullshit lines
like "I don't hate any trans, I just don't want men in my
daughter's bathroom at school or boys competing as girls and cheating
the poor little girls". These are all manufactured outrage
points to get the crowds lined up to support their bigotry.
Take a look at the statistics, compare
how many trans people or drag queens have been charged with sexual
assault in a bathroom (or anywhere) to how many republican "cis"
males have been charged with a sexual assault. How does that evidence
NOT guide your opinion? Just how fucking stupid must one be to be
freaking out about crime that doesn't happen to the degree that
actual assaults are happening against trans people in revenge for
this crime THAT DOESN'T EVEN HAPPEN?
This is the guy you actually WANT to
lead the fucking free world? A man that will happily let religious
nut-jobs reshape the US as long as he has fame & praise &
power & gets wealthier?
Of all these issues above, that doesn't
cover all the reasons to reject trump and the army of religious &
bigoted pricks that will pull the strings and make the shit happen.
They're currently bragging about how Project 2025 is full steam ahead
and they're scrambling to be ready to implement it.

The list can go on and on and on.
How many of these does it take to
realize that trump is a huge fucking disaster for the US?
Every single thing above that will be
done or is the goal of trump's administration to do is opposed by
democrats/liberals. PURELY ON MORAL GROUNDS.
Yes, absofuckinglutely, democrats have
superior morals to republicans, and not understanding these issues is
no fucking excuse. If you are voting for negative things you are
unaware of or don't understand then YOU FAILED to be an informed
citizen. Liberal democracies (and the US IS a liberal democracy, stop
fucking cringing over the word "liberal") require the
citizens to be well informed in order to function well and thrive and
provide steady incremental improvements to lives in general. ALL
LIVES, not just the privileged.
This is not done by using bad sources
of information that are effectively distorting a perception of
reality, such as FOX or any compatible with FOX. To be well informed
one must learn how to distinguish the difference between credible and
not credible sources, and how any of the sources have bias or what
those biases may be and why and so on and so on. For republicans
especially, relentlessly repeated misinformation is the prime way to
thwart a person's good judgment. Right wing media does NOT place
truth as its highest ideal. It is irrelevant what the political
leanings are of a media entity, what matters are the facts and the
explanation or interpretation of those facts. Republicans, en masse,
in my opinion, have completely failed to maintain a rational
perspective on reality, failed to use credible sources, failed to
identify what sources are lying to them, failed to maintain a sense
of empathy for all other humans, and the end result is what this next
administration may do to permanently fuck up the USA, democracy
worldwide, freedoms in and out of the USA, and numerous other serious
damages. The amount of damage will be directly tied to the rate of
success for all of the stated goals of trump & his people. The
more achieved, the more damage.
This was all clearly evident long
before voting occurred. Not having the precise public performance
from Kamala that it would take to change your mind or know what she
stands for is totally bullshit, she said plenty and if you made any
effort to follow news outside the stupid GOP bubble you'd have a
fairly good idea where she is ideologically. If you're in a poisoned
vacuum until the last fucking second, then you're the problem, not
Kamala.
On the other hand, trump spouted
hateful erroneous gibberish every time he spoke, and if republicans
don't recognize that then they have no fucking leg to stand on saying
Kamala spoke poorly or said bad shit.
The state of US elections has finally
been refined to a point where voting against someone is a perfectly
valid reason to vote when you look at the mountain of bad things on
the one hand, and the nominal good things on the other.
Trump is really really really the bad
choice.
It bears repeating, the democrat's
morals are superior to republicans.
The more trump's administration
achieves its goals, the more that will become obvious, eventually
even to most republicans when the bullshit they've been smothered in
has washed off.
The American electorate just made the
biggest mistake they could have possibly made. Being in the majority
in an election does not make anything you believe good or correct.
The majority just fucked up. YOU just fucked up.
Maybe some day you will understand.
That will be too late to fix anything in society, and it will not
restore my respect for you. For social ethics and social
responsibility towards your fellow humans, you deserve zero respect.
Having good ethics in private or work environments is not enough, as
laudable as they may be they don't matter to anything out in the
wider world, the wider world you just fucking threw a grenade at.
